ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
“The Global Witnessing Challenge” (or “The Challenge” for short) is a unique and graphical demonstration of the love of God to His creation through the faithful and obedient actions of His followers. Just ordinary, everyday people (please note: every Christian, not only evangelists, are included) who have been inspired to witness and share His love with the lost, to the very ends of the earth. Reaching and touching people with the message of Jesus Christ.
In practice what this means is that witnesses will physically set off in teams of 2 around the world, with whatever means and resources are available to them, to proclaim the Good News to a lost and fallen world. They will specifically talk and share with people who do not know the Lord as their Saviour the message of reconciliation and Salvation, using any innovative means or tools at their disposal.
As such this will present a demanding challenge to each team. By setting off on a somewhat uncertain journey around the globe, individuals will learn more than ever to trust and rely on the grace of God to lead them into encounters and places where the harvest is ready. Not to mention learn to trust in God for their daily provision and safety (2 Timothy 4:17).
Through all this, participants’ trials, challenges and experiences will be collated and relayed via digital means to a world hungry for, and overjoyed by, evangelistic success.
The Challenge lends itself loosely along the lines of a television real-life drama, such as the “Amazing Race”. The Challenge differs from any such televised format, however, by not following specific, set elimination tests or challenges along the way, or following specific routes or achieving tasks by set deadlines. The stakes are also more deadly serious – the eternal souls of man.
The Amazing Spin-off's
The Challenge will undoubtedly present the greatest physical, spiritual, mental and emotional tests most participants will ever have experienced. Individuals’ faith will be tested and stretched throughout their epic journeys as never before. Miracles will be witnessed and performed. Spiritual fruit will be reaped among people and in places most would never have dreamed they were capable of reaching in their lifetimes. Blessings of all manner – spiritual and material – will be experienced by participants through the faithfulness and commitment of their efforts.

The Challenge therefore represents one of those very rare “once in a lifetime” opportunities to stand up and be counted among the faithful and to serve our wonderful Saviour and Redeemer. As a life-changing event, very few things on earth will come close to rivalling the impact and inspiration the Challenge will have on the lives of participants. Not to mention on the many people "back home" who have chosen to support and closely monitor their journeys.
