CHRISTIAN MINISTRY SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorship raised through this web site will be allocated directly to the nominated bank accounts of specified teams or individuals.  However, before this is done, it is clearly understood by all that an automatic percentage (20%) of all funds raised through the sponsorship module will be deducted and allocated to the 3 official Christian ministry fundraising efforts sanctioned by the Challenge (incl. its own operating costs), namely:

Coal-Face Ministries - sharing the love of God with the poorest, most vulnerable and unreached rural communities in Africa through the provision of medical assistance and medical supplies, including establishing and maintaining medical clinics.  In the process physically saving human lives and spiritually transforming individuals and communities for God.

Evangelical school planting - planting and resourcing at least one new evangelical Christian school (from primary through to secondary levels) on each continent in the next 12 months; the ultimate goal of each school being to disciple, equip and release final year students to actively spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the lost and dying on their continent.  Ensuring a steady stream of passionate disciples enter the harvest each year.

 

Evangelical publishing and online ministry - establishing a new ministry that designs, translates, publishes and distributes (at low or no cost) bibles, witnessing materials and online resources, on demand, to churches and individual witnesses worldwide.  So that the body of Christ - particularly those based in poorer countries - may be well served and equipped to reach the harvest.

 

Funds raised through this method for the 3 official Christian ministries (above) will be distributed evenly and equally to each (1/3, 1/3, 1/3).

There will be an additional online financial support option available to donors who will be able to specify which one/or combination of the above 3 ministries they can directly support, without having to sponsor specific individual participants or teams.

Sponsorship of the Challenge's running costs

In addition to other commercial sources of income generation, the ongoing running costs of the Challenge will be partly financed through direct contributions from the main sponsorship module (as above).

An automatic contribution will be paid to the Challenge organizers out of the 20% regular deduction from monies raised through the sponsorship module (earmarked for the 3 official Christian ministries).  25% of monies raised for the 3 official Christian ministries will be set aside for Challenge running costs.  This will ensure a steady and regular income stream to help offset all necessary running and promotion costs.
